Glossary for the Endtimes Essentials

10-Nation Endtime Coalition

The ten kings/nations who unite with the Antichrist to destroy Endtime Babylon (cf. Rev 17:16-18). They form the base of world-wide power for Antichrist’s Beast Empire (cf. Rev 17:12-14; Dan 2:41-44; 7:7, 23-25).

Antichrist’ Beast Empire

The final Beast Empire that will uniquely rule the entire world (cf. Dan 7:23). It will be initially formed by an alliance between the Resurrected Antichrist and the 10-nation Endtime Coalition.

Antichrist’s Claim to be God

Antichrist’s “abomination of desolation” when he enters and desecrates a rebuilt Jewish temple and proclaims himself to be God. (cf. Dan 9:27; Matt 24:15; 2 Thess 2:3-4).

Antichrist’s Religious Covenant

A 7-year “covenant” with many pagans throughout the world to begin a religion worshipping the Antichrist (cf. Dan 9:27). It will promote peace in the world and allow Israel to rebuild its Temple in Jerusalem. He will violate this Covenant in Israel at its midpoint and commit His Claim to be God in the Temple.

Antichrist’s Resurrection

At the beginning of The Beginning of Birth Pains, the Antichrist will emerge as the first and foremost of the False Christs Jesus predicted (cf. Matt 24:4-5). This will be the cause of Antichrist’s quick rise to worldwide adoration (cf. Rev 6:1-2; 13:3-4; 12, 14; 17:8, 11; 2 Thess 2:9-12). Antichrist’s Resurrection will also probably be the clearest certain sign that the Endtimes have begun.

Battle of Armageddon

A final battle between Christ and the Resurrected Antichrist and his armies (cf. Rev 16:12, 14; 19:19-20; Ezek chs. 38-39). Christ’s defeat and destruction of His enemies here finishes Christ’s Wrath and ushers in Christ’s Reign for the Millennium

Beginning of Birth Pains

Catastrophic wars, famines, and plagues that enable the Antichrist’s rise to worldwide worship and power (cf. Matt 24:4-8; Rev 6:1-8). The people living on one fourth of the Earth will be killed (cf. Rev 6:8). It will include the destruction of the economic and military power of Endtime Babylon leaving the Remaining World to be ruled by Antichrist (cf. Rev 17:15-18).

Christ’s 1,000-year Reign

The literal 1,000 year Millennium with Christ ruling on the Earth (cf. Rev 20:1-9 and numerous OT prophecies). Its purposes include rewarding those who had been beheaded (Rev 20:4) during The Greatest Persecution, and to begin to fulfill God’s promises to Israel.

Christ’s Endtimes Teaching

Matthew 24-25 (cf. Mark 13:1-37; Luke 21:5-36), the “Olivet Discourse. The clearest teaching in all of Scripture on the substance and sequence of Endtime events.

Christ’s Return

Christ’s first visible appearance during His Second Coming. It will be visible to everyone on Earth and will immediately result in the Church’s Rescue (“rapture”) before Christ’s Endtimes Wrath. (cf. Matt 24:29-31; 1 Thess 4:15-17; 2 Thess 1:6-10; 2:1-4).

Christ’s Wrath

God’s punishment on unbelievers after the Church’s Rescue (cf. Matt 24:29-31, 37-41; Rev 6:12-17). This is part of the prophesied “Day of the Lord” and consists of the Trumpet and Bowl Punishments (cf. Rev chs. 8-9, 15-16). It is completed with the Battle of Armageddon.

Church’s Rescue (“rapture”)

The “rapture” in which all Christians still living in the Remaining World will be lifted off the Earth by Angels to meet Christ at His Return (cf. Matt 24:29-31; 1 Thess 4:15-17). It occurs at the end of the Greatest Persecution (Satan’s/Antichrist’s wrath against God’s people) and immediately before Christ’s Wrath against unbelievers.

Daniel’s Last Seven Years

More widely known as “Daniel’s 70th Week.” It is a period of exactly 7 Jewish years (of 360 days each). It begins with Antichrist’s Religious Covenant and ends with Christ’s Return (Dan 9:27). Its purpose in Israel is to finish God’s plan for their sin, rebellion, and punishment (Dan 9:25). It will also be the last seven years of the Church Age (Rev 13:5-7).

Endtime Babylon

The economic super-power in the world when the Endtimes begin (cf. Rev chs. 17-18). It is a nation, centered in a city, that once served God but is now a spiritual Prostitute promoting the idolatrous religion of Money in the World.

Because the Antichrist will desire all of the world’s worship, he will completely destroy Endtime Babylon. The ten horns [10-nation Endtime Coalition] … and the beast [Antichrist] will hate the Prostitute [Endtime Babylon] and these will permanently remove all people from her and strip her naked and they will completely devour her body and will completely burn her up with fire… in one hour (Rev 17:16; 18:10, 17, 19). It is argued in the book Endtime Babylon that this is predicting the annihilation of the United States of America with nuclear weapons.

God’s Last Great Commandment

God commands His people who live in Endtime Babylon to physically leave it. Then I heard another voice from heaven say: “‘Come out of her, my people,’ so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues (Rev 18:4 NIV).

Greatest Persecution (Antichrist’s Wrath)

Antichrist’s Reign & Wrath with the murdering of Jews and Christians (cf. Matt 24:15-29; Rev 6:9-11; 13:5-10; Dan 7:21-25). This aspect of Antichrist’s Reign occurs after the Antichrist’s Claim to be God in the “abomination of desolation” and lasts exactly 1,260 days, ending with Christ’s Return (cf. 2 Thess 2:8; Rev 12:7-17)

Great White Throne Evaluation

When every human who has ever lived is personally brought before Christ’s throne to be evaluated for punishment or reward (cf. Matt 25:31-46; 2 Cor 5:10; Rev 20:11-15). This will occur at the beginning of Eternity.

Last Generation Church

The Christians (elect) living on the Earth during the Endtimes (cf. Matt 24:15-29). They will experience The Beginning of Birth Pains and The Greatest Persecution. Many of them will be martyred (cf. Rev 6:9-11). Some of them will be among those who are rescued (“raptured”) from Christ’s Wrath and come out of the great tribulation (Rev 7:13-14).

Rising Antichrist

The little horn (Dan 7:8; cf. 8:9) that represents the emerging Antichrist as the leader of a relatively minor country, probably somewhere in the vicinity of Russia (Magog; cf. Ezek 38:1-2). However, he will be famous and admired world-wide because when he is killed and resurrected he will be recognized and worshipped by the entire pagan world.

Resurrected Antichrist

This will be the Rising Antichrist who will be fatally wounded and then come back to life (Rev 13:14 NLT; cf. 13:3) to become the Resurrected Antichrist. The whole world will be filled with wonder and follow the Resurrected Antichrist (Rev 13:3 NIV).

Reigning Antichrist

After the Resurrected Antichrist commits “the abomination of desolation” in a Jerusalem temple and Claims to be God, he will be the Reigning Antichrist. His authority with transition from world-wide worship and admiration to absolute obedience. This will include the killing of God’s elect people.

Remaining World

The world that exists after the annihilation of the economic super-power of Endtime Babylon (cf. Rev chs. 17-18). It will be argued in the book Endtime Babylon that this will entail the complete destruction of the economic, military, political, and Christian influence of the United States of America with nuclear weapons. In other words, the Remaining World is a world without the U.S.

The Remaining World is the world in which sword, famine, and plague, have been given authority and power to kill the people living on one fourth of the Earth (Rev 6:8). It is also the world in which Antichrist rises to power and persecutes what remains of God’s people.

Seal Preparations

The false Christ’s, wars, famines, and plagues that prepare the Remaining World for Antichrist’s Rise and Reign. They are the first four of the “seals” broken on a scroll that release “riders on horses of destruction.” They result in one fourth of the Earth being killed (cf. Matt 24:4-8; Rev 6:1-8)

Trumpet & Bowl Punishments

Christ’s Wrath inflicted on the Remaining World after the Church’s Rescue during “the day of the Lord” (cf. Rev chs. 8-9, 15-16). They result in a third of the Earth being burned up and all of Earth’s water turning to blood (cf. Rev 8:7; 16:3-4). Their culmination is the Battle of Armageddon.
